This bestest boy is not just a companion but a seasoned professional in his own right, often playing a pivotal role in helping other dogs learn the ropes. With his calm demeanor and patient approach, Remington is an invaluable asset in socialization exercises and behavior modification training sessions, where his presence helps to reassure and guide his canine peers. Despite his unwavering dedication and spirited heart, Remington is advancing in years, and it is anticipated that he will be transitioning into a well-deserved retirement within the next few years.

This beautiful girl is a Belgian Malinois/ Dutch shepherd mix. From humble beginnings, Belle spent the first six months of her life in a puppy mill. Unfortunately for her, she was adopted by a first-time dog owner. Both breeds of her lineage should not be owned by a first-time dog owner for many reasons. Soon her owners could not handle her as she spent most of the next six months confined to a small porch. She was eventually taken in by a rescue that reached out to K-9 University for training in hopes of finding her forever home. It’s sad to say but unfortunately, Belle’s confinement in her most developmental stage of life has left her in a position where few could meet her needs to adopt. Coral and Jedidiah adopted Belle so that a life of structure and understanding could rehabilitate her. Belle has made massive improvements but will only ever be a house dog. Belle does quite often help at K-9 university however this is limited to dogs who are farther along in their training, And only to serve as a distraction while training in more advanced settings.
